Privacy Policy – Peanut

Last Updated: September 22, 2026

Peanut is a pregnancy companion app operated by Two Kings Software (“we,” “us,” “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you use Peanut (the “App”), including its pregnancy tools, partner features, community contributions, and support services.

Pregnancy and reproductive-health information is sensitive. This policy explains which information is stored for your account, which information is shared with a linked partner or other users, and which service providers process it. Features may vary by app version, platform, language, region, and availability. This policy does not replace any separate consent required by applicable law.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account and preferences

We collect your account identifier, name, email address, sign-in provider information, and any profile image supplied by that provider. Authentication is handled through Firebase Authentication, including Google or Apple sign-in and supported email/password accounts. We also store your role as the pregnant user or partner, pregnancy membership, account and activity timestamps, and preferences such as language, country or care region, and measurement units where those settings are available.

1.2 Pregnancy and wellness information

Depending on the features you use, we collect information you enter and information calculated from it, including:

These records can reveal information about your health, pregnancy, relationships, and daily life. You choose which optional tools to use and what to enter. Some basic account and pregnancy information is needed to provide the associated features.

1.3 AI questions, answers, and feedback

When you use Ask Peanut, where available, we process your question, conversation context, answer, pregnancy stage, relevant regional preferences, and technical or safety metadata. We store questions and answers in our own service logs. If you submit feedback about an answer, that feedback can include a copy of the question and answer, your rating, and any explanation you provide.

Food analysis processes the meal text, photo, ingredients, and relevant preferences you submit and the resulting estimates. Section 4 explains how OpenAI processes inputs for these features. Avoid including identifying information about yourself or others that is unnecessary for your request.

1.4 Community content and support

We collect preparation-list suggestions, product recommendations, ratings, and reviews you submit. We also collect feedback, feature requests, and communications you send to support. If you contact us through WhatsApp or email, we receive the information you include and the contact details made available by that service.

1.5 Usage, device, and diagnostic information

The App and its service providers process app version, operating system, device and installation identifiers, network information such as IP address, crash reports, error logs, screen views, feature interactions, notification activity, and app configuration data. We store push-notification tokens and related device/platform information to deliver notifications.

Analytics can be linked to your account and pregnancy information. Firebase Analytics events can be associated with your account identifier, role, pregnancy week or trimester, language, and region. Events can include feature-specific measures such as hydration amounts or movement-session counts and duration. Our internal activity records also include your name, account identifier, activity, pregnancy week, and timestamp. Selected activities may generate internal notifications to administrators containing your name, activity, and pregnancy week so we can understand usage and operate the service.

AppsFlyer processes installation, referral, device, network, and invitation-link information for attribution and partner invitation links, including links opened after installation.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

We do not sell your personal information. The service-provider and partner sharing described below still involves personal information, including pregnancy-related information.

3. Sharing With Your Partner and Other People

3.1 Linked partners

Inviting or joining a partner connects two accounts to a shared pregnancy. A linked partner can access shared pregnancy information, including pregnancy dates and progress, appointments and preparation records, meals and hydration, movement sessions, memories and photos, names, requests, and couple activities. Treat information saved in shared pregnancy features as available to the linked partner.

Raw daily check-in records and personal daily plans are restricted to the account that created them. However, the App derives partner support summaries from check-ins. Those summaries can reveal needs for rest, reassurance, or support and whether a response indicated a possible urgent concern. They are not a confidential channel to a healthcare professional.

Share invitation links or codes only with the person you intend to connect. Someone who receives a valid invitation may be able to join the pregnancy. Ending partner access cannot remove copies, screenshots, or information that person has already received.

3.2 Community contributions and external sharing

Approved preparation suggestions, product recommendations, ratings, and review comments may be visible to other people with a public display name derived from your name. These contributions are separate from your private account records. Do not include private health information or another person’s personal information in content you submit for publication.

When you choose to share content through another app, open an external product link, or contact us through WhatsApp, the receiving service handles information under its own terms and privacy policy. We cannot control copies retained by recipients.

4. Service Providers and Other Disclosures

We use the following services in operating Peanut:

Provider Purpose and information processed
Google Firebase and Google Cloud Authentication; database and photo/file storage; server processing; push notifications; app configuration; app-integrity checks; analytics, including analytics exports to BigQuery; and crash reporting. These services process account, pregnancy and feature data, uploaded content, identifiers, usage events, and diagnostics as needed for their functions. See Firebase privacy and security information.
OpenAI AI answers, safety moderation, and meal analysis. Ask Peanut sends question text, relevant conversation context, pregnancy week, and regional preferences. Food analysis sends submitted meal text or photos, ingredients, and relevant regional context. See OpenAI business and API data information.
AppsFlyer Installation/referral attribution and partner invitation links, including deferred links. Information can include device and installation identifiers, IP address, app interaction and referral data, and invitation-link parameters. See the AppsFlyer Services Privacy Policy.
Apple and Google App distribution, platform services, and Apple or Google sign-in where used. These companies also handle information under their own Apple privacy policy and Google privacy policy.

AI features send data off your device. Peanut retains relevant feature records and service logs even when an AI request is configured not to store a response with the provider. Provider security logs and other retention may also apply; we do not promise zero retention by AI providers.

Authorized personnel may access information as needed for support, moderation, troubleshooting, security, and service operation. We may also disclose information when legally required, to address fraud or threats to safety, to protect legal rights, or in connection with a business transfer subject to applicable privacy obligations. We will seek consent for other disclosures where required by law.

5. Device Storage, Permissions, and Notifications

Peanut stores some information on your device, including preferences, cached content, local photo copies, and contraction-timer records. Other records, including meal photos and shared pregnancy content, are stored in the cloud. Do not assume all information is stored only on your device or that uninstalling the App deletes cloud records.

6. Retention and Deletion

We retain account and pregnancy records while needed to provide the service. We retain service logs, AI interactions, feedback, and support records as needed for their stated purposes, troubleshooting, security, and applicable legal requirements. Retention varies by record and provider; we do not promise a single automatic expiry period for all data.

6.1 Delete a pregnancy

The pregnancy owner can use the pregnancy-deletion option in the Me screen. This removes the pregnancy and its associated private records and disconnects the partner, while keeping both user accounts available. Cloud cleanup may continue after the request is accepted.

6.2 Delete an account

Use Delete account in your profile. We may ask you to sign in again to verify the request. The consequences depend on your role:

Account deletion also initiates cleanup of related cloud files, AI records, and identifiable analytics in supported systems. Some cleanup and requests to service providers continue asynchronously, so deletion is not necessarily immediate across every system.

Previously approved public suggestions, recommendations, ratings, or reviews may remain with account attribution removed. Removing attribution does not remove identifying information you wrote into the content itself; contact us if you need help requesting its removal.

Limited deletion-operation records, security records, backups, and information required to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes may remain for the applicable retention period. Deletion cannot remove content already copied by a partner or another recipient. Uninstalling the App or signing out does not request account deletion.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You can choose whether to use optional features, submit photos, ask AI questions, contribute community content, or connect a partner. Use available in-app controls to update or delete records, manage reminders, and delete a pregnancy or account. For changes or removal that are not available in the App, contact us.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access or receive a copy of your information, correct it, request deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or complain to a data-protection authority. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Some requests may affect our ability to provide related features.

Send privacy requests to twokingssoftware@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity and will respond within the time required by applicable law. There is no need to send additional medical information to make a privacy request.

8. Security

We use authentication, access controls, app-integrity checks, and encrypted connections to supported cloud services to help protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Protect your sign-in account and device, and consider who can see your notifications, widgets, shared content, and invitation links.

9. International Processing

Our service providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from those where you live. International processing is subject to applicable legal requirements, including transfer safeguards where required. Contact us for information about the handling of your data.

10. Age Eligibility

Peanut is intended for users aged 18 or older under our Terms of Use. It is not directed to children. If you believe someone under 18 has provided personal information through the App, contact us so we can investigate and address it, including deletion where appropriate.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the App or our data practices change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice of material changes where required. Where a change requires your consent, we will seek it; publishing a revised policy does not itself supply that consent.
